How to play TriPeaks Solitaire

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of TriPeaks Solitaire. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Use the example below to understand a decision. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

Make the controls familiar

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Read that aim before choosing your first action. The example below illustrates a decision.

Step by step

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Keep the controls nearby.

Watch out for this

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
