How to play Bubble Shooter

Open Bubble Shooter, check the instructions and begin a round. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Look at what changes after your first action. Read the objective before making your first input. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Notice the feedback

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Step by step

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Controls

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.

A useful example

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the game’s format in mind.

Watch out for this

Contact with a different colour is not a match. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
